PROFILE OF ASSOCIATION OF CYPRUS TRAVEL AGENTS (ACTA)
The Association of Cyprus Travel Agents (ACTA) was founded in 1954 and incorporates
the vast majority of the travel agents and tour-operators of the Island.
Its’ members represent more that 95% of the package holidaymakers coming
to Cyprus and 100% of the local holidaymakers going abroad.
The responsibility and importance of the role of ACTA has been recognized and certified with its nomination
as Licensing Authority for the Cypriot Tour Operators according to the Law 186(I)/2017, wholly in line with the
relevant Directive (EU) 2015/2302 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 25 November 2015.
ACTA is member of the ECTAA (European Travel Agents’ and Tour Operators’ Associations) and of CCCI.
The Travel Agents that are members of ACTA bear its logo, which is recognized as a sign
of trust and a guarantee of integrity, capability and high standards of service.
