SUMMARY
The total number of visitor’s arrivals in 2017 was 3,652,073 as compared to 3,186,531 in 2016 recording an increase of 14,6%. Revenue from tourism in 2017 was estimated at €2,639 billion, recording an increase of approximately 11,7% in relation to the corresponding figure for 2016 (2,363 billion).
